Not sure how to draw water but it’s a start. I’ve done a bit of shadow but it should probably have been extended under his belly as well.

Day 10 drawing was more puppy-like with a shorter nose. Today I’ve achieved an older dog impression and the facial proportions are much better. This actually starts to resemble Jack (minus the body markings obviously).

I can see the distance from eyes to nose is too short. Possibly something to do with the angle I’m working at? Think I’ll try drawing on an incline tomorrow.
