My Connectivity print project is slowly coming along but in between print days at Hazelhurst studio I’ve revisited the figure line drawings I did last year and added more to my collection.   You can see some of the lino prints from 2018 here and here.

Some of these drawings, and a few others, were transferred to lino and print proofs were taken on basic 110gsm cartridge paper as a trial.  These were printed in my home studio.

Print proofs are so valuable; they allow me to see if the images were carved well and they also ‘break-in’ the lino – removing any coating or grease – before the final prints are taken on good paper.

Next step is to get them onto my handmade paper and work out how to print lettering.
