Continuing working with design play exercise 5 I chose one of the images and explored what I could achieve using Photoshop CS6.  I’ve never had much in the way of formal training on Photoshop but have used on-line help, forums and the like to get where I want.

My start point was a photo of a 10cm woven square with the aim to produce a computer generated image from it that was totally devoid of any similarity with the original.

My new printing theme, to get 2019 underway, originally had a working title ‘Out There’ but this has now evolved to ‘Other World’ and I’ve created quite a few images for this idea using the texture from the mat above.  Today I share one with you.
